I've been grinding these beans every morning and the whole bean freshness really comes through in the cup. It's smooth enough to drink black, which I didn't expect from a dark roast, and I feel a bit more focused than with my usual brew.

The dark roast is genuinely bold without any bitterness creeping in on the finish, and the mushroom blend doesn't interfere with the coffee flavor at all. I do wish the bag came with a scoop since I'm guessing at the right amount each morning.

The bag reseals nicely, which keeps the beans fresh for my morning grind. It brews a clean cup, though I wasn’t expecting the mushroom notes to be so subtle—just a hint of earthiness under the roast.
